Search engines are constantly tweaking and changing their algorithms, and that makes a lot of people trying to rank up get a little bit confused every time.
People are constantly trying to figure out what are the best ways to rank up their pages in the search engines. No one really knows exactly how to do rank up effectively and fast, but we can come really close to it.
I’m going to share with you my own what I have learned about ranking in the search engines of today. I have been studying search engine optimization for years now, and I have seen the progress of them.
Today, you can’t really rank pages in the search engines the same way you did a few years ago. Things have changed!
A few years ago, it was easy to rank up any type of content in the search engines with a massive amount of backlinks. A lot of backlinks were the fastest way to rank up. Not anymore!
Those days of massive backlinks are over. One of the main reasons is because of the crappy content people were able to rank up in search engines.
The search engines always keep the end users in mind. Without the users, the search engines are nothing!
With that being said, you also gotta keep the end-user in mind. You have to create your content with the reader and search engine user in mind.
Just think about it. The search engines job is to help the user find the most helpful and relevant information for them.
Low-quality content will have a hard time ranking up in the search engines these days. No matter how many backlink you give it.
Quality is King in the Search Engines Today!!
If you want your content to rank very well in the search engines, you must work hard on creating the best content you can create.
If you are building a blog, and you would like your content to get good search engine traffic, you must create EPIC Blog Posts!!
Of course, you want to still do On-Page SEO. The Off-Page SEO is what you shouldn’t worry about too much.
When you are creating your content, keep the On-Page SEO in mind.

Just try to follow the following On-Page Search Engine Optimization:
– Use your keyword in the headings – H1, H2 and H3.
– Use your keyword in the Title.
– Use your keyword in the first sentence and in the last sentence of your article. Plus, use LSI keywords to get your content more viral.
– Make sure your keyword is in the URL.
– Make sure you Underline, Bold and Italicize your keyword. That means you need one keyword in bold / one keyword underlined and one keyword italicized.
– Make 1 to 3 of your keywords in the article – click-able/hyperlinked.
– Put your keyword in Alt Tags – you need to upload an image on your post and put your keyword in the ALT Description of the image.
– Make sure your keyword is in the MetaTags Title and Description.
These are simple on page search engine optimization rules to follow.
The Off-Page SEO will be the backlinks, social network activity, and comments. In other words, the more popular your content is the better rankings you can get.
Don’t get me wrong here, backlinks are still a part of the ranking factor, but it is just a tiny part of the entire process now.
What the search engines want is NATURAL backlinks. Let me explain this to you real quick….
When you are researching some information online, and you use search engines, once you find a great page with the best information, what are you most likely to do??
You tend to bookmark that page!!
You tend to share it with your friends or your network.
If you have your own blog on the same topics, you tend to share a link to that page because the information is so damn good!
Isn’t that right?!!
That is the exact same type of content you need to have on your site/blog, if you want people to bookmark it, talk about it, and share it. This is how you get natural backlinks my friend!!
So, I wouldn’t really worry too much about backlinks, and focus a lot more on the quality of the content.
Now, there are other important factors the search engines today really consider when analyzing a page to rank:
1 – Social Networks Activity
2 – Comments on the Page
Basically, the more activity and engagement on your page, the more important it will seem to the search engines.
Just think about this for a moment.
Since the search engines are always keeping in mind the end users, and they want to do their best to present them with the most relevant and valuable content, they need to be able to tell how popular and valuable your content is.
What would be a great way for the search engines to tell how popular and valuable the content on a page is?? …
Anyone can get a massive amount of backlinks, right! ..
So, what other factors would a search engine analyze in order to learn if the content of a page is valuable or not??
The answer …
By how many Social Network Shares, and how many comments are on the page.
That’s a great way for the search engines to tell how important the content on a page is!
It just makes sense!
The more social share and the more comments you have on the page, it only means the information is really good and valuable.
Have you ever thought why do people share a page on their social networks? Why do people leave a comment on a page?
I think you know the answer for these very well by now.
Let’s wrap it up here.
If you want to benefit from a lot of organic search engine traffic, you will need to work a lot harder on creating the most valuable and epic content possible.
Give the readers exactly what they are looking for, and more. Make your content so good, people will feel bad not to share it with others. Also, don’t be afraid to tell people to share your content if they find it very valuable.
Work on the engagement on your page. Ask people for their opinions about the information on your page. Encourage people to leave a comment!
You can give your page a few relevant backlinks, but I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Just do what you can for backlinks, and concentrate a lot more on the other factors.
This is how to rank up in search engines of today! 🙂
The search engines are only getting smarter with time. They will always try their best to reward quality, unique, valuable, popular content. Always remember that!
Work on your content a lot more. Encourage people to share your content on social networks.
Encourage people to leave comments on the page. But always lead with EPIC Information!!
That should help you get good rankings in the search engines fast!! 😉
Thanks for reading this!
